When I was asked to consider running for the County Board, I asked, "Why me?" The caller said, "You know everyone, and you would do a great job representing the citizens of the County." In the past, job duties did not allow much time for public service. Carbondale and Jackson County have been very good to me. I now have the time to devote to working to help make this an even better place to live, work, and play.
