One Team, One Mission for Jackson County
Jackson County Ambulance Service (JCAS) provides emergency medical services from 3 station locations with Advanced (ALS) and Basic (BLS) life support capabilities headquartered in Murphysboro, Illinois. We provide emergency medical services to all residents and visitors within Jackson County around the clock, every day
Our mission is to provide superior quality of life through the provision of emergency medical services, public education, and rescue services to all residents and visitors within Jackson County.
We accomplish this mission with compassionate personnel with superior emergency medical skills that provide emergent and non-emergent service including education, prevention, and various other service to our community. Department members actively participate within the Jackson County social fabric, serve as role models, and strive for efficiency and excellence using all available necessary resources at their command to provide excellent service to our communities.
Our business office is available to assist with all reimbursement services, patient records, and account payments.
