Jackson County Illinois

Eleven years worth of Jackson County’s tax and assessment records are now live online at http://tax.jacksoncounty-il.gov.  Daily changes made in the Assessment Office will be incorporated automatically every evening.  Property may be searched by parcel number, name, or address, although names and addresses must be typed and spelled exactly we input it into the computer.  (McGuire will not pull a match if we typed Mc Guire.)

Data for 2009, payable 2010, is not finished yet but will show up in the next 30 to 60 days as the work is completed.  The Board of Review is finalizing values, then the Department of Revenue will finalize the multiplier, and the County Clerk will start the extension process, then the Treasurer can begin printing and mailing bills.
