DATES FOR EARLY VOTING
IN JACKSON COUNTY
Public Notice is hereby given that Early Voting, per 10ILCS 5/19A will be conducted in the office of the Jackson County Clerk. Voting will be conducted during the following dates and hours for the February 2nd, 2010 General Primary Election. All 61 Precincts in Jackson County will be served at the County Clerk’s Office, Jackson County Courthouse, 1001 Walnut St., Murphysboro, IL

The Jackson County Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, January 30th, during the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for the purpose of absentee voting only. For further information please call the Jackson County Elections Department at 687-7366. WHAT IS EARLY VOTING? Any registered Jackson County voter may cast their vote prior to Election Day at the office of the County Clerk. Voter must have a valid picture ID and proof of current registration address.
